I've always been active and engaged in regular strength training and conditioning, however entering my first pregnancy I wanted to start training with someone who would provide accountability, structure, and safety.
Kim is pre and post natal certified which was important for me. I find that our sessions hold the perfect balance of rigor as well as honoring that my body is changing and growing a human. During our sessions Kim is able to push me and while keeping safety in mind. It has been very fun to gain balance and strength while working with Kim during my first and second trimester. I look forward to seeing what we can do during my third trimester and after I give birth. The gym facility is never too packed, very clean, and Kim's communication is excellent.

As someone who has gone to gyms for 15+ years, I truthfully didn't feel like there was much to learn, but I wanted to see a trainer just to get familiar with Compound Training Facility. I was wrong - I have learned SO much while working with Coach Kim. During my first session, she commented I had good squat form but suggested I slightly tweak my foot position... now I am able to squat deeper and heavier than ever before. I also came to Coach Kim with occasional knee pain. She taught me exercises to strengthen my knee/knee stability. Since implementing those exercises in my routine, I have been pain free for the first time in years! I have learned great form, exercises, and things about my overall health and wellbeing from her. Overall, Coach Kim is so knowledgeable, kind, and so motivational; I truly cannot sing her praises enough. She is exactly the kind of person you need to help you reach your goals and exactly who you want by your side cheering you on!
